Herndon runs scheduled open play at Bready Park six days a week and it is free whenever the courts have not been reserved. Mixed skill, no registration, just show up. If you want a guaranteed court instead, reservations are $10 per hour per court through the town at 703-435-6868. One caveat that matters in winter: the court lights at Bready are under repair and not operating, so the evening hours are daylight-only until the town finishes the work. Verified Oct 9, 2026.
