Privacy

The register runs on trust, so here's exactly what we collect. Last updated July 2026.

What we collect

Email addresses — only if you give one (newsletter signup, court or event submissions). Used to send you the Monday Report or updates about your submission. Never sold, never shared, never used for anything else. Unsubscribe anytime by replying to any email.

Your contributions — ratings, reports, notes, photos, and event listings you submit, plus the contributor name you choose to attach. That's the whole point of the site.

Anonymous usage analytics — page views and referrers via Vercel Analytics, without cookies that track you across the web. We use it to see which courts people care about.

Location, briefly — the "Near me" and "I'm here" buttons use your device's location in your browser to sort courts or pin a submission. Your location is not stored on our servers or tracked over time.

What we don't do

No accounts, no passwords, no ad trackers, no selling or renting data, no data brokers. Contributions are remembered on your own device (localStorage) so we can credit you — clear your browser data and that link is gone.

Where data lives

The database is hosted on Supabase and the site on Vercel, both U.S.-based. Emails for the newsletter may be processed by our sending provider solely to deliver it.
