How ratings work around here.
Stars are for restaurants. Courts get rated in pickles — one tap on any court page, no account, no forms. Half measures are not only allowed but respected: tap a pickle's left half for a slice. Every rating comes from a player who actually stood on that court, and every contribution moves you up the Brine Line.
The Pickle Scale
OUR OFFICIAL UNIT OF MEASUREMENT — STARS ARE FOR RESTAURANTSLines faded, net's a rumor. You'll play, but you'll talk about it in therapy.
Playable. Bring your own net, low expectations, and a sense of adventure.
A perfectly honest court. You'd come back — if traffic cooperates.
Worth the drive. The group chat deserves to know.
A cathedral of dink. Protect it. Respect it. Arrive early.
Every record climbs the same ladder. † means the details come from official sources and no player has confirmed them yet. PLAYER-REPORTED means one contributor has filed a report or correction — enough to outrank a stale parks listing. ✓ COMMUNITY-VERIFIED means two or more named contributors have confirmed the record within the last 12 months. Nobody's word counts extra — a register foot visit is one report, same as yours. And verification can lapse: if nobody confirms a court for a year, it drops back to player-reported, because a record that nobody's checked lately shouldn't pretend otherwise. Your named report is what flips a court's status — anonymous reports still count in the tallies, but verification requires a name or initials we can credit.
