FACILITY RECORD
Monitored weekday blocks, mornings 9am–noon plus an evening block — balls provided, four-on-four-off when full. Off-hours it's self-organized.
SKILL SPREAD: Wide mix; the rotation culture keeps games moving
Five dedicated courts with permanent nets — known locally as the Krughoff Courts — in the SW corner of Garfield Park, next to the train tracks and partially under the 395 overpass. Run by a nonprofit with a paid court monitor on weekdays; group open play runs weekday mornings (9am–12pm) and evenings (5–8pm) with balls provided during monitored hours and 4-on-4-off when full. The regulars coordinate day-to-day in a TeamReach group chat — ask the court monitor or any regular about joining. Excellent surface and pristine nets; slight downhill grade drains well; tree shade drops acorns (the monitor sweeps); sun is in eastern-side players' eyes from midday to sunset; balls can sail over the low fence to the train tracks. Water fountain is a 2–3 minute walk (by the tennis courts); nearest bathrooms are inside the Whole Foods next door. One overpass light allows limited night play on one court — a full lighting solution is rumored but unconfirmed.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE — THIS COURT
Weekday open play is the move: a court monitor (ask for Aidan) runs things 9am–noon and 6–9pm, balls provided, 4-on-4-off when full. Off-hours it's self-organized but the rotation culture holds. Park under the overpass at your own discretion, keep an eye on your car, or use street parking. Bathrooms are in the Whole Foods next door; water fountain by the tennis courts. East-side players squint from midday on.
Tap the pickles. That's the whole report.
No account, no forms. 1 pickle = rough day, 5 = great courts. Left half of a pickle = a slice.
